UTIL_FindPickerEntity(pPlayer, pGameRules)

Finds the entity currently targeted by a player's crosshair.

Parameters
  • pPlayer CBasePlayerController* — Player controller
  • pGameRules CCSGameRules* — Optional game rules

UTIL_FindEntityByClassname(pStart, name)

Finds an entity by classname.

Parameters
  • pStart CEntityInstance* — Starting entity (or nullptr for first)
  • name const char* — Classname (e.g. "weapon_ak47")
